Come & Sing – Handel’s Messiah

Vocal workshop
Join us for a fun vocal workshop on Handel’s Messiah, with renowned singer and choral director Joanna Tomlinson. Learn lots of tips and tricks to improve your singing technique and your performance of the Messiah.
Registration is from 10am for a prompt start at 10.30am. There will be tea breaks and a short lunch break.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. Lunch is not provided, and there are plenty of eateries nearby.
Perform in the Messiah in concert with orchestra
If you’re attending the workshop, why not come and join our concert of the Messiah with orchestra. We are offering the opportunity for those who attend the workshop to take part in South West Essex Choir’s performance of the Messiah with the superb National Symphony Orchestra on Saturday 7 December, 6.30pm at Chingford Parish Church, E4 7EN.
If you would like to perform in concert with us, you must be confident in singing the Messiah and you must attend the choir’s two final rehearsals prior to the concert on Tuesday 26 November and Tuesday 3 December at Loughton Methodist Church, 7.45-9.45pm, and attend our rehearsal on the afternoon of the performance.
This offer to perform in concert with SWEC is limited and only available to singers who take part in the workshop, and is at the discretion of the Musical Director.
